Orders
For the safety of both our staff and our customers, we do not accept cash payments.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Discover, Apple Pay both online and in-store. We also accept Google Pay online.
Yes, we offer in-store pick-up for online orders. Select this option at checkout and stop in to our store to retrieve your order once you receive confirmation via email that your order is ready.
We aim to have orders ready for pick-up the following business day, but ask for your patience in times when it may take 2-3 days. If your order is urgent, please call us at 612-504-0220.
Shipping & Returns
We want you to love your Story & Teller order. If you aren't entirely satisfied, we will gladly accept your return within 30 days of purchase in exchange for store credit with proof of receipt. Read our full Return Policy for instructions on how to begin the return process.
Apothecary, gourmet goods, houseplants, gift cards, and final sale items are not eligible for return.
Our paid events and workshops are non-refundable, but you may transfer your reservation to a friend or family member. Please notify us if you will be transferring your ticket so we can update our participant list and ensure a smooth check-in.
We currently only ship to customers within the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii). If you are an international customer, we encourage you to follow our Instagram as we hope to expand our coverage in the future.
If you entered the incorrect shipping address for your order, please contact us immediately to provide the correct information. We will do our best to accommodate the change, as long as you have reached out prior to receiving the shipping confirmation email. If your order has already shipped, please contact the shipping carrier for further assistance in having it marked as "return to sender." Any incremental shipping costs to re-send your order after it is returned to us are your sole responsibility and must be paid prior to us reshipping your package.
We are a small operation and strive to ship orders within 3 business days pending item availability and payment verification. Shipping times vary by carrier, but you will receive detailed tracking information in an order shipping confirmation email.
We carefully inspect and package each order to ensure it arrives safely to you. Once Story & Teller has delivered the merchandise to the mail carrier, you will assume the risk of loss and title for the merchandise. We are not responsible for damaged, lost, misplaced, or stolen packages, and we ask that you please contact the logistics company indicated in your shipping confirmation email to remedy the situation should one of these issues arise.
We carefully inspect and package each order to ensure it arrives safely to you, but appreciate your patience in the event that an error was made. Please check your order upon delivery and contact us within 48 hours if an item is missing or incorrect so that we can remedy the situation.
Products
Due to the handmade and small-batch production methods used to create our collection, slight variations in color, texture, shape, size, and finish are to be expected and celebrated.
We provide care instructions on each product page whenever relevant to help you prolong the life of your new purchase. If your product is no longer available, please contact us and we will do our best to retrieve this information.
Yes, we offer electronic gift cards that can be used both online and in-store. You can either select it to be sent as a gift to your recipient directly or to be delivered to yourself to forward.
No, your gift card value does not expire.

Storefront
Our storefront is located on the main floor of the Intersect Apartments at 316 N 2nd Street Minneapolis, MN 55401. You can map your route here.
We share an entrance with the Intersect Apartments. You can enter the building through the main door marked 316 that is directly to the right of our space (our windows have vinyl signage with our logo).
Once you are inside, go through the second door and you will see our store entrance immediately on your left. Note: all doors are unlocked during our business hours. If you ever encounter that the doors are locked, please call us at 612-504-0220.

There is ample metered street parking within a 1-2 block radius of our storefront, including a few spaces in front of our building on 2nd Street. There is also a parking ramp at the corner of 2nd Street and 2nd Avenue (map here). We do not have a dedicated parking lot.

The entrance into our building is ADA compliant, though does not have an automatic door button. If you need assistance entering the building, please contact us via phone. We keep our interior storefront doors open during business hours to provide guests over 42" of space to enter. Our storefront is wheelchair accessible with the exception of a seating area where we have a rug, but a team member will always be available to bring over any product you may want to see up close. Our cash register counter is 36" tall which meets the height requirements for ADA compliance to allow all to easily make their purchase.
We want all visitors to have a wonderful experience each time they shop at Story & Teller. Click here and enter the email address you want to use for your account. You will receive a 6-digit verification code to that email address. Copy the code and paste it into the browser tab where you entered your email address to activate your account. You are now set up with an S&T account and can login using that same email address to view orders, request returns, and save information for easier shopping.
Great news! With our simplified account setup, you don't have to worry about remembering or saving a password.
Whenever you want to login, you simply enter the email address for your account and enter the 6-digit code from the verification email that is sent to you. This keeps your account secure and spares you from the hassle of password resets [we've been there, too].

Maker & Business Inquiries
We would love to learn about your products and story to see if you would be a good fit for S&T. Please fill out the form on our Contact Page and select "Maker Inquiry" as the purpose. Be sure to include your wholesale pricing structure, order minimums, production lead times, and any other relevant information for consideration. We will review and will reach out to the email you provided if we would like to partner for our retail collection.
